Introducing Character Profiles!!!

Welcome to character profiles! Here, I make profile things for characters in books, movies, TV shows, etc!

I take suggestions and do my own thing! Just make sure you aren't using an old idea! So, stay tuned and prepare for some epic character profiles!!!

Percy Jackson: The Lightning Theif

The Lightning Thief

Oooh. This. Not the book, but the movie. You won't here this a lot coming from me, but join me in saying why Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief is the all time worst movie EVER!!

You'll only think this movie sucks as much as it does if you've read the book. "Which by the way, is AMAZING!) But this movie gets half a star!!! NOT EVEN!

This movie does not do mercy on Rick Riordan's franchise at all. It brings shame. It starts okay, but the fact is, Percy SHOULD be 12, yet he is about 17!! I've heard people say movies with 12 year olds fighting monsters won't attract crowds, but that's like saying Harry Potter didn't do well!

I mean, Annabeth isn't even blonde and, you can see the chemistry between Percy and Annebeth from day 1!!! TheY even completely mess up Grover's personality! Not to be rude, but I likes Grover a LOT more before he became BRAVE!

I can't even express my rage about this movie. It deserves negative eight billion five thousand two hundred seventy three. I'm not even doing a long post because it's so bad, this movie can't even be put into words.

Anyone disagree? Anyone wanna help me point out any more problems? Let me know,

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Once again, quite a mouthful of a name! But, this movie will beat most for a mixture of freaky guys and jump-scares along with great characters and major plot twists!!

You thought you were satisfied with your billion disk movie library, but no, no, no! No movie library is complete until they've seen Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

It follows Jacob, or Jake, as he must find Miss Peregrine. once he finds her, he meets Emma. A beautiful and kind girl who's lighter than air. Emma had a crush on Jake's grandfather, Abe and thinks Jake is Abe. Eventually, Jake is taken into the children's home and meets Miss Peregrine.

The movie is a film adaption of the book by Ransom Riggs. It does change a few things, but it's something I can accept. For one thing, they do switch two characters. Originally, Emma has pyrokinetics, or the ability to maipulate fire with her bare hads but she can levtate in the movie. Movie Emma's role is the same as Olive's in the book.

Enough of that. Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children is by far, one of the best movies I've ever seen! I totally reccomend it!

Into the Woods (Playhouse Square)

Into the Woods

I'be recently seen Into the Woods at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio. The same one that they preformed on Broadway! If you've seen the movie and not the play, I feel bad for you! The play was AMAZING!

It's one of those shows where you think you know what's coming, but then you get something totally different! Every cast member is onstage at the same time and most members have more then one role! Like, Cinderella's stepmother and Jack's mom had the same actress, Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel, the Cow and Rapunzel's Prince, Cinderella's Prince and the Wolf, you get the picture.

Also, the music isn't the same. The play is the original version and it includes some songs the movie excluded like, Our Little World, a duet by Rapunzel and the Witch, Agony (Reprise), still by the Princes, No More, sang by the Baker and Baker's Father, etc.

It's one of those plays you just REALLY wanna see again. The set was absulutely amazing! It had a piano right in the middle that a guy sat at and played and the cast moved it around and used it as a prop! Every cast member would be apart of the songs and would play an instrument if thwy weren't singing.

Overall, I would seriously reccomend this play! It's great and the music is amazing! You'll just REALLY want to see it again when it's over and be astonished by all the hard work each cast member probably had to put into it in order to make the production possible.

~ Taylor Swift

~ J.K. Rowling

~ Rick Riordan

~ Emma Watson

Be nice to everyone, always smile, and appreciate things because it could all be gone tomorrow.
~ Ed Sheeran

I hope you enjoyed this Thursday's quotes by REAL PEOPLE. Next week, I'm doing HARRY POTTER characters!!

Lab Rats!!!!

Lab Rats!

Okay, I know I kind of made a post about Lab Rats already, but that was just expressing my sadness and anger that it was canceled. THIS on the other hand is just how much I heart the show!

Lab Rats starts with Leo Dooley's mom, Tasha Davenport, marrying Donald Davenport. Tasha and Leo move into Davenport's house. Davenport's a multi-billionare with a huge ego ad love for his hair. Soon, Leo journeys to the mysterious basement where he then meets Adam, Bree, and Chase. Adam has super-strength and laser-vision, Bree has super-speed, and Chase has molecular kinesis and super-intellegance.

It's really good. Lab Rats is hilarious and every word will make you crack up! It starts like an ordinary show with a different subject every episode, but eventually you meet Marcus, Douglas, and Victor Krane, Some ANTAGONISTS FINALLY. Then the suspense starts!!! I won't tell you anything about them...

Some secondary characters you meet are Eddy, who's a smart-home system that is practically Davenport's best friend. Eddy absulutely despises anyone BUT Davenport. You can say he hates Leo less, but still a disliking. Bree even tells Eddy he's evil which actually is very true. There's also Principal Perry who hates the Lab Rats and Leo! Always trying to prove there is something weird about them... which is true.

And since I know this show REALLY well and I just have the time, I'm gonna do a quick Pros and Cons. Caution, this MAY OR MAY NOT be my longest post.

PROS
1. It may seem like a show you won't like much at first, but it soon becomes a LIFE SOURCE.
2. The characters are real goofy and say the STUPIDEST things that are just HILARIOUS.
3. The storyline keeps you at the edge of your seat, whether it's pulling a little 'Star Wars' bit (I am your father) or being trapped in an avalanche, or a massive explosian, or just plain unexpected bits of stuff!
4. The realistic parts are TOTALLY relateable! School problems, crush problems, people in general problems, you can almost ALWATYS relate!
5. It's one of those shows that's perfectly imperfect! (I have a shirt that says that!) It doesn't need to get every little detail correct. It's just awesome the way it is!
6. Some antagonists are evil in s stupid way! Like Douglas, I'm not 100% sure if this is truely the case, but Douglas is practically evil cuz he's tired of living in Davenport's shadow and (correct me if I'm wrong) just wants to be recodnized for better or worse. (Seems like worse!)

CONS
1. Sometimes, something HUGE and IMPORTANT happens and it's just... WOW! But then, the next episode it's just like... pretend it never happened.
2. IT'S OVER!!! Peeps, we gotta get Disney XD making this again! Another season... I can see it now! Lab Rats: Bionic Hero! That's my idea! Do you agree?

Overall, it's a GREAT show that I REALLY love but sadly, is off the air, and Disney XD seriously does't show it on TV anymore! You gotta have Netflix or Watch Disney XD (I think) if you wanna watch it!

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM

The name's a mouthful, am I right? Also known as Fantastic Beasts, this movie now beats Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as #1!

Fantastic Beasts is the first of an expected five movies! It tells the story of Newt Scammander in the 1920s, who comes to America to finish the research for his book, you guessed it, Fantastic Beasts  and Where to Find Them. While in America, Newt meets to witches, a worker at the American version of the Ministry of Magic (MACUSA), Porpentina "Tina" Goldstein, legilimens (mind-reader) Queenie Goldstein, and No Maj (American Muggle) Jacob Kowloski. It all starts with a Niffler escaping Newt's bag.

I won't give it away, but Fantastic Beasts is amazing! It's full of action and even has a bit of a love story... Trust me when I say this, after watching Fantastic Beasts you will beg for the screenplay JUST so you can READ the movie whenever you want to before it comes out on DVD!!

And how could I forget the villionous side? Credence Barebone is an American squib, tricked into helping the main antagonist, Percival Graves, who is actually Gellert Grindlewald in disguise... Graves just wants Credence's help so he can find the obscurus, who he believes to be Modesty Barebone, Credence's sister. I'll leave you to wonder what an obscuras is and I won't tekk you who the real one is...

So WATCH FANTASTIC BEASTS AND LOVE IT! But before I go, you need to hear this heartbreaking news... NEWT WON'T BE THE MAIN FOCAS OF MOVIE 2! But we can expect to see Dumbledore, the mysterious Leta Lestrange, Gellert Grindlewald (played by Johnny Depp!), and even Credence will come back!

Book Review: Ghosts

GHOSTS: The New Graphic Novel full of... SUPERNATURAL FUN

Hey guys! This weekend boo review is featuring the newest graphic novel by Raina Telgemier... GHOSTS! I borrowed it from my friend and finished it in ONE DAY it's SO GOOD!!!

So, here's my usual character analysis on the main characters...

CHARACTER ANALYSIS STARTS
CATRINA (AKA CAT): Cat is the main main character, as in she's the main subject of the book. Cat moves to Bahia de la Luna with her sister Maya and her family in the beginning. Cat is very protective of Maya and hates to see her upset, though Maya enjoys doing everything Cat does. She doesn't believe in ghosts at first until she actually meets them.

MAYA: Maya is Cat's younger sister, who has Cystic Fiberosis (I think I spelled that right...). That's a disease that affects your breathing and digestion. She goes through lots of treatments, such as a vest that loosens the mucas around her lungs, a machine that helps her get nutrients her food cannot give her, and a breathing tube eventually. Maya is hyper, active, and loud who loves singing and playing around everywhere. She gets upset when she can't do certain things, cuz apparently her family moved so she 'could do stuff.'

CARLOS: Carlos is 'ghost tour boy' who takes people on tours of the town where ghosts can be. He is the boy living next door to Cat. He and Cat meet when Maya runs into the 'haunted' arcade. After that, Carlos's mom invites Cat's family for dinner. Cat hates Carlos at first and he tells her about Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead.) Then, Carlos introduces Cat to his ghost uncle, Jose during the Dia de los Muertos celebration.
CHARACTER ANALYSIS ENDS

Prepare for a REVIEW!!!

So, Ghosts would probably appeal more to ages 9-16 girls. It is probably my favorite book out of EVERY Raina Telgemier book! (Smile, Sisters, Drama) It could be realistic if it didn't have ghosts in it, but you can REALLY relate to the characters and it's just SO very lovable in every way. Anyone book loving person would love it and just when you think it can't get any better... IT DOES! This book seems like something a creative mind could, and probably would, dream about! Take my word for it when I say it'll ROCK YOUR SOCKS! It's a real page-turner and any need to stop reading, for even a second would break your heart!

I hope this review was better this time, guys! I'll try to make my next review longer!

The Magician's Nephew Review

MMGM: The Magicians Nephew

Hey guys! In case you're wondering, MMGM stands for Marvelous Middle Grade Mondays, and it's because I'm emailing this to Shannon Messeger, and she needs to know it's an MMGM. My book blog thing may even get feature on Shannon's website. Check it out at shannonmessenger.com. So... LIGHTS... CAMERA... ACTION! (That's a theater thing!)

Okay, let's get this party started!

So, The Magician's Nephew is ACTUALLY the first book in The Chronicles of Narnia series! The poor book is only an origin story!

In the beginning, we meet Polly Plummer, a curious, yet cautious little girl! We soon after meet Digory Kirke, a reckless, messy boy who has no regards for personnel safety! After a little while, Polly and Digory head to Digory'd house for a little exploration and we meet Uncle Andrew. The MAGICIAN!! Uncle Andrew, (or Mr. Ketterly) is a cruel man who only cares about himself and his safety.

Now that we got done with the caracters, let's move on to my actual review!

The Magician's Nephew is a book I'd FOR SURE recommend. It may be a little religious in Christian terms, mentioning people being the 'Sons of Adam' and 'Daughters of Eve' and a reference to the Story of The Garden of Eden, with Digory's temptation to eat an apple from the Tree of Youth, instead of bringing one to Aslan. (In Adam and Eve's story, they are convinced to eat an apple by a snake) It's nothing like you'd expect it to be with twists and turns in every place. The way the author, C.S. Lewis wrote the book, it's almost as if he is actually talking to you ad telling you the story of Polly and Digory's travelings to Narnia.

Even the villian is amazing! Queen Jadis of Charn! She's as evil as it's possible to be! She's so evil it's almost as if she's... I dunno... Voldemort-like from Harry Potter or Kronos-like from Percy Jackson.

And, this book is great like that, you don't even NEED to like Percy Jackson or Harry Potter. It's nothing like either of those books... it's its own form of amazing. Totally unique and it's a REAL page-turner!

So, if you like FANTASY or MAGIC then I'd run to the library and grab The Magician's Nephew. Even if you don't like fantasy OR magic, give it a try.

It's not too long and definitely doesn't take up to much space! So give it a try! I bet you'll love it!

Acting DOs and DON'Ts

Acting DOs and DON'Ts

In case you don't know, I have started acting!!! So, I've decided to give some aspiring actors such as you guys, my fans, would find useful! Here is what to do and what not to do, if you are an aspiring actor like me!
1. DO dress nice to auditions! It shows the director that your serious about the play!
2. DON'T be quiet with your lines, or even your audition songs and/or monologues! If the director or person at your audition can't hear you, they'll think you can't be loud during the real thing! So SPEAK UP!!!
3. DO remember, you're auditioning from the moment you walk in the room! So, smile and look confident! The director could already be deciding if you'd be better for Ariel or Ursula...
4. DON'T come unprepared! Even if it doesn't say to prepare... 16-32 measures of a song, or memorize a one minute monologue, have one down! They might give you something, but always be prepared!
5. DO use your space! Whether if it's a song or monologue, try to have a choreographed route made and ready to use! Go big or go home, LITERALLY! Using your space ups your chances or getting a part!
6. DON'T commit to a play or part that has something impossible for you! Like, don't audition for a play if the majority of the cast needs to know acrobatics... or gun experience. Chances are, you'd be one of them! And, even if it's a lead role, turn it down if you'll need to hold your breath for a minute (if you can't...)
7. DO learn the songs beforehand if its a musical, If you've never seen Annie or The Little Mermaid or Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast, LEARN THE MUSIC before auditioning! Look up a play soundtrack if you can!
8. DON'T stop looking at your lines! Especially if you're the lead! You gotta know all those words, no matter how many! And no matter what, don't go to your director at a rehearsal and say you can't do it! They won't consider you for ANYTHING ELSE!!

Those are some tips for my fellow acting buddies! We gotta stick together!

Show Has been Canceled for About Three Years

TOTALLY AWESOME SHOW THAT I LOVE SO MUCH THAT HAS BEEN CANCELED!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I bet you wanna know why I'm losing it right now. The truth is I'M SAD!!!

Wanna know why? Look at the title.

The show I'm talking about is Lab Rats! It's like an original Disney XD show and even though Lab Rats: Bionic Island was never canceled, it just ended, the next series, Lab Rats: Elite Force, was canceled before they could even have a Season 2! To make matters worse, Adam and Leo were NEVER EVEN IN IT!!

This is gonna be a short post, so, get on Netflix, watch Lab Rats, and HELP ME BEG DISNEY XD TO REVIVE AN AWESOME SHOW!!!
